New Nails of the Week!!

Heya!

Quick mini post of my Nails of the week!! I'm keeping up to date eyy!!! Go me!

So this week is the Kiki 225!

Nail No Nos! For me!

OK! So this is my post about nails that are TOO MUCH for me! I do love OTT nails and very long stiletto claws, deco nails, you name it! BUT! What nails would I actually say no to?
Here they are!

We all know I LOVE stiletto nails and I would so go to this length of nail, so this one is a 100% yes from me!

Same here, this is about as long as I'd go! Not much longer than these!!

Now we know what I can go for, let's find out what I'd say no to!

1) OVERLY LONG NAILS! The kind you can do day to day work! These are just too long!!
I'd maybe go half the length of these bad boys! Though these would make it impossible for me to live!


Same here, way too long, I'd only need half the length of these!


2) Extra short French Mani nails! I'm not a big fan of French mani, although I don't mind it! WHEN I DO MIND IT! Is when the white tip is MUCH bigger than the actual natural nail colour, I really don't like this!! Thick ass white strips and a tiny natural pink, urgh!! Looks so tacky to me!

This is what French Mani is meant to look like!!!!


3) Duck Nails! I don't know where these came from, but I know I want nothing to do with them! I hate thick nails, this is just a kick in the face thick ass nails lol! They look nasty! Not my thing! If you like them, then go for it! Just it's not for me that's for sure!


4) Extreme short nails! The kind that you can't see! I don't mind natural short nails, though really short nails is a no no for me. Especially here, when you're trying to paint in a tip, when there's clearly no tip?



5) Bubble Nails! Wowza! These look so freakin weird! When I was a little girl, I got bored one time, and painted my nails with ALL the nail polishes I could find, layer after another layer. It started to grow higher and higher as the layers went on, then started to look pretty disgusting, like there were boils on my fingers. Pretty icky! These remind me of that! Where the nail is popping out of its place! Too much!!


6) Curved Nails, I don't mind a slight curve, but recently there's been a lot of OVERLY curved nails going around! Like they're sinking towards the ground! This is one Mani you'll never catch me getting in a lifetime!

So weird! How would you go about your life with overly curved nails? Too curvy for me!


7) Matte Nails,  I don't really see what the hype is for matte nails. I really like shiny nails! When I see matte nails they look like they've been painted on with acrylic paint? Or like some really cheap paints! Plus they dry lumpy if you don't put them on perfectly, if its not on even, it shows!!!

See, I love this design because of the contrast! I love the chic to this, ONLY because it has that shine! It doesn't look dull or cheap to me!

Matte Glitters are ok too, they look pretty. Shiny glitter, is always good!
 

8) Caviar nails  I don't know why these are big? It's just weird to me? Why would you want fish eggs on your nails? Thats it? I work with a lot of fish eggs when making sushi, but seriously. I prefer my fish eggs on food and not on my nails thanks! What's next??? I bet you they're gonna do Veg nails, or dairy nails, CHEESE NAILS! hahhahaa, anything food related! Haha, painting foods on your nails is ok, but actual wanting the food on your nail? Just don't like the design, looks like the eggs easily fall off anyways, messy!

Hello Monday & NAIL OF THE WEEK!

Heya guys!! Here is my new post for my nail of the week!!! 

This week there are 2! Haha, I recently got these lovely Dollywink nail polishes!

Here is my tiny post on the lovely 2 colours!

I wanted not to get too many as I prefer to try a few out before going crazy on them all!!

I did decide not to get anymore, as I didn't really care too much for them!

Personally I think they were a tiny bit too small for the price haha!  

So here are the 2 lovely colours! I LOVE LOVE LOVE the packaging! It's really what draws you to them haha! They were are tad bit smaller than expected? Cute, but not too practical for the price. They're more expensive than a BARRY M nail polish which is £3, and you get loads of product from that!


I do like these nail polishes, although they're not the best really. I wouldn't say they're the next big thing, cause theyre so not! I love the colour selection and the cute packaging, but other than that it's just another cute Japanese nail polish, nothing too fancy!


I love pink nail polishes, so I HAD to try out the pink haha! It's a really nice colour! I do like it! The consistency of this one was great too, very milky! I don't like nail polishes that when you paint, they show a colour or lines underneath. It's not as thick ya see. Though this one was brilliant for that! These are 2 layers!


As for the nude one, I LOVE nude colours for nails too! Though this one was a tiny bit too peachy for me, which ok. Not really a big deal, though when I put it on, it made my skin colour look even more olive! I'm a NC20 and can tend to lean towards the yellow/Olive skin tones rather than Pinky, though this didn't match well with my skin tone!! Made me look all yellow and green ahah!!


So here it is on the nail, like I said didn't match the skin tone at all haha! It kinda knocked out my nude skin ahahah, So like I said I like quite thicker, opaque nail polishes, though this one wasn't as good as the pink one? Wha?! You'd think they'd be the same right haha! Oh no no, it's not! As you can see, you can slightly see my nail colour underneath. So this one was a major let down!


Overall, I wont be collecting these haha, or even getting anymore at all really. I think there are more nail polishes out there that I should find! These get all my marks for cuteness, but not for practicality! Too pricey too for the size haha x

BARRY M Glitter Polishes Swatches

I thought I'd start swatching some stuff! So here are some Barry M glitters!

I've still got some more to go! They're only £2.99 so easy enough to collect :)

When I get a more diverse range of colours I'll be doing a full swatch of Barry M nail products!

Maybe even start collecting all the brand, as it's quite cheap! Just a drugstore product so easy to get too!

My fave out of these are: 264, 349, 352

Colour Club - Artsy Crafty 924

I really wanted a colour that was dark but not dark enough to be black! I personally don't like the colour green, but I do like greens that are very very dark! I really liked this colour! I'd give it a total of 8/10

I must have the worst luck!!

Also had to move out! So I've been all over the place!

I've been crazy busy doing christmas shopping!!

I've ran out of ideas on what to post about!

Maybe just some kawaii, makeup nails, more tutorials maybe?
